AeroClub – A Shared Flying Club Network
AeroClub is a membership-based service within the Aerokone platform designed to make flying between clubs simple, safe, and consistent.
Traditionally, visiting another flying club often means unclear procedures, repeated paperwork, and uncertainty for both pilots and clubs. AeroClub removes this friction by creating a shared framework that allows pilots to fly at participating clubs using one recognized membership.
AeroClub does not replace flying clubs or their rules. Instead, it provides a common structure that connects independent clubs into one national network.
How AeroClub Works
A pilot purchases an AeroClub membership through the Aerokone platform. This membership acts as a trusted identifier that is recognized by all participating clubs.
When a pilot wants to fly at another club, AeroClub provides a clear and familiar process. The pilot completes a standardized onboarding and then contacts the club according to its own booking practices. The club reviews the request, completes any required local checkout, and approves the flight on its own terms.
All flights are conducted fully under the host club’s rules, pricing, and safety requirements. AeroClub does not interfere with flight operations — it simply makes the visiting process predictable and transparent for everyone involved.
What AeroClub Means for Flying Clubs
For flying clubs, AeroClub brings controlled access to visiting pilots without increasing administrative workload. Instead of handling each visit as a special case, clubs can rely on a shared onboarding model and a recognizable membership.
AeroClub also improves aircraft utilization. Visiting pilots generate additional flight hours, introduce new activity to the club, and often become long-term members or recurring visitors. At the same time, clubs gain visibility through the Aerokone platform, where their aircraft, operations, and services are presented to a broader audience.
Importantly, clubs remain fully in control. Participation does not require changes to internal rules, pricing, or governance. Each club decides how and when visiting pilots are accepted.
What AeroClub Means for Pilots
For pilots, AeroClub removes uncertainty. Instead of negotiating procedures separately with each club, pilots can rely on a familiar and trusted process wherever AeroClub is accepted.
This makes flying more flexible. Pilots can fly while traveling, relocate temporarily without losing access to aircraft, and explore different club environments with confidence. AeroClub lowers the barrier to fly more often and in more places, while maintaining safety and clarity.
